About us

A family-run café
with the best view in town

Ann & Elizabeth, a mother and daughter, and a clubhouse that looks out over the whole of Harrington Waters.

Our story

Two generations behind one coffee machine

Ann runs the Clubhouse Café with her daughter Elizabeth. Mother and daughter, seven days a week, from 8:30am.

Between them they spent years running restaurants in Sydney. The pace here is different, and deliberately so, but the standards came north with them: coffee made properly, a short menu cooked well, and a room that is warm in winter and cool in summer.

The rest is the part you cannot put on a menu board. Knowing the regulars by name, remembering how they take it, and keeping a water bowl by the door for the dogs.

The clubhouse

Architecturally designed,
and pointed at the view

Perched above lush fairways, greens and quiet waterways, the clubhouse is fully air conditioned inside and opens straight out onto the deck. Whatever the weather is doing, there is a comfortable seat with something worth looking at.

Our community

Held up by locals, and glad of it

The café is proud to be supported by loyal members and by the wider Harrington community. A great many of the faces that come through the door on a Tuesday morning have been coming through it for years.

That is also why the welcome extends past the members. Community groups meet here. Families come up after school holidays swimming. Visitors exploring the Manning Valley find the turn-off by accident and come back the next morning on purpose.
